You are an experienced administrative professional who excels in fast-paced environments. You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are capable of accurately processing information under pressure. You have a good understanding of children's services and know how to appropriately respond to concerns about a child. You are committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, taking Child Protection seriously and undergoing regular training.

What the Job Involves

As a Referral Officer for Islington's Children's Service Contact Team, you act as the first point of contact for both the public and professionals regarding social care referrals. You are responsible for providing high-quality responses to incoming contacts, working closely with CSCT managers, social workers, and MASH partner agencies to process and input referral information accurately. You are tasked with ensuring that contacts receive timely and appropriate responses while maintaining effective administrative systems. Your role also involves creating reports, maintaining good working relationships with various teams and departments, and contributing to service outcome achievements.
