What the Job Involves
The Caretaker is responsible for ensuring that estates and communal areas are well-maintained. This involves performing cleaning tasks according to schedules, operating and maintaining equipment, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. The role requires collaboration with team members and residents to manage estate incidents and improve service delivery. The Caretaker also supports waste management and contributes to housing service objectives by maintaining accurate records and promptly reporting issues. Additionally, the caretaker is responsible for conducting health and safety inspections, managing equipment, and contributing to the overall objectives and customer satisfaction levels of the Estate Services team.
