Who You Are
As an Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) and Conference Chair, you are expected to have recent experience in the role of an Independent Reviewing Officer and be ready to start within four weeks. You possess significant experience and comprehensive understanding of the legislation, processes, and regulatory framework concerning Looked After Children.
What the Job Involves
This position involves independently reviewing Looked After Children Reviews, Secure Accommodation Reviews, Child Sexual Exploitation meetings, and Missing from Care meetings, adhering to statutory requirements and guidance. You will work on site at least three days per week, with your office base in L6 3BH. The role is a three-month initial placement, offering £40 per hour on a limited or umbrella basis.

- Deep knowledge of Looked After Children legislation and processes
