What the job involves
This role involves being the primary point of contact for calls related to children's services at Lincolnshire County Council. You'll handle calls from the public and professionals, such as police officers, nurses, and teachers, to report concerns about children. Your role is to meticulously gather information, ensuring nothing is taken at face value, and input it into the system to assist decision-making in Children's Social Care. Handling potentially distressing and sensitive calls requires a composed and compassionate approach. You will work at our offices in Lincoln City Centre, with hours between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Comprehensive induction and service-specific training will be provided.
