Who You Are
We are seeking a motivated and driven Clerk of Works (Post-inspector) with experience in the rehabilitation of void properties within the Social Housing sector. You will collaborate effectively with a team of surveyors and letting officers to help meet corporate void turnaround times.
What the job involves
The role involves visiting void properties for pre and post inspections, writing specifications using a schedule of rates, ensuring that empty homes are prepared to a high standard with a minimal turnaround time, and managing the works process for voids. You will work closely and effectively with contractors and other stakeholders, monitor contractor performance regarding quality and value for money, and use relevant IT systems to ensure the accuracy of performance management reporting and data.
