Who You Are
We are looking for a qualified Best Interests Assessor to join our dedicated Adults Safeguarding team in Denbighshire. You should be registered with Social Care Wales or willing to register, and comfortable working full-time for a 3-month period with availability for face-to-face meetings within the region.
What the Job Involves
Your role will involve undertaking Best Interest Assessments under DoLS legislation. You will contribute to safeguarding adults at risk by implementing effective legislative processes. You will work closely with the team to protect individuals from harm, support positive risk-taking, and help them achieve their desired outcomes. An office space is available for your use in Ruthin or Rhyl.
Skills
- Qualified Best Interests Assessor
- Registered with Social Care Wales or willingness to register
- Experience with DoLS legislation
- Strong interpersonal skills for face-to-face meetings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective time management and organizational skills
