Deputy Manager, Residential Care Home

Who You Are

A compassionate and dedicated leader who supports the manager with the operations and development of a residential care home. You have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care to older individuals, including those living with dementia. Your aim is to ensure continuous service improvement and compliance with CQC standards.

What the Job Involves

  • Support in managing the day-to-day activities of the residential care home.
  • Lead and supervise a team to provide high-quality care to service users.
  • Implement best practices for complex needs, including dementia care.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC guidelines and operational policies.
  • Manage resources, staff recruitment, training, and development.
  • Conduct investigations, handle complaints, and attend disciplinary hearings if needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to service users and their families.
  • Monitor financials and manage budgets for the residential care home.
  • Promote health and safety practices to ensure a safe environment for service users and staff.
