What the Job Involves
As a Leaving Care Personal Advisor, you will manage a caseload of young people aged 18-25, providing them with personalized advice, guidance, and advocacy. Your role includes conducting assessments, overseeing and implementing Pathway Plans, coordinating services, and maintaining regular contact with young people. You will facilitate their access to education, employment, housing, and other services while adhering to policies and statutory guidance. Travel within the UK and overseas may be required, along with supporting formal meetings and managing financial aspects like bursaries and grants.
