Who You Are
We are looking for Social Workers who are passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families. You should be skilled in assessment, planning, and delivering interventions and committed to working collaboratively, inclusively, and creatively. Resilience, reflection, and confidence in making difficult decisions are essential. You must be able to work effectively within a supportive team environment, be registered with Social Work England, and hold a recognised Social Work qualification with at least 3 years post-qualification experience.
What the job involves
As a Children's Social Worker in the Safeguarding & Support teams, you will work directly with children, young people, and their families to create lasting change. The role involves building trusting relationships, offering early help and support, and taking decisive action when necessary to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children. You will work collaboratively with families to empower them, focus on the child’s voice, and be committed to making improvements in partnership with the local authority.
