You are a professionally qualified Social Worker with a current HCPC Registration, and a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience. You demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and have an enhanced understanding of legislation relevant to Adult Care Practice. You exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
What the Job Involves
This role involves providing statutory professional social work to support adults with care and support needs. You will manage a varied and complex caseload, undertaking needs assessments, supporting safeguarding enquiries, and constructing care packages. Responsibilities include supervising non-registered social care practitioners, mentoring social work students, and working alongside multi-disciplinary teams. The role demands integration with various partners to address broader needs such as health care or housing and involves some travel outside the county.
