Who You Are

You are an experienced and dynamic leader with a track record of achievement at a senior leadership level. You have a comprehensive understanding of SEND policy, legislation, and the challenges faced by children and young people with SEND and their families. You are skilled in managing large-scale transformation programmes and balancing strategic vision with day-to-day project delivery. Your problem-solving, decision-making abilities, and strong organizational skills enable you to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines efficiently. You are adept at facilitating change and driving culture shifts, with financial acumen and a strong grasp of high-needs funding and commissioning practices.

What the job involves

This role focuses on implementing the Priority Improvement Action Plan and driving strategic transformation of SEND services. You will play a pivotal role in translating improvement plans into a coherent strategic action and resource plan. You will accelerate data cleansing and dashboard creation, review governance and quality assurance arrangements, and create a coherent narrative for decision makers. Engaging with parent-carer forums, stakeholders, and commissioners, you will co-produce services, rebuild trust, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your leadership will strengthen partnership working and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
